ungatekeeping everything you need to see, do & eat for Day 1 in Shanghai 🇨🇳✨🍚🥢👇🏼 📍Nanjing Road - 南京路 one of the longest pedestrian streets in the world and the perfect base for your first day - walk the whole thing end to end until you hit the Bund. shops stay open late so save it for the night too ! 📍Jianbing Street Stall - 煎饼 crispy egg pancake for $1AUD - fully customisable and one of the best breakfasts i had the whole trip. get here early because the line gets long 🍳 📍Yuyuan Garden - 豫园 built in the 16th century and so surreal to walk through. budget at least an hour, then wander the old streets outside and grab soup dumplings from the bazaar, they serve them with a straw!! 🥟 📍The Bund - 外滩 time this for sunset and stay for dark. get to the wharf early and grab a ferry ticket, they run on timed sessions and sell out fast 🌆 📍Nanjing Road Stores Popmart flagship, Miniso land (full theme park chaos inside a shop), and LOADS more!!!! come back for more China content! ⭐️ #shanghaitravel #chinatravel #shanghai #thebund #chinesefood
