Dameisha Seaside Park
Dameisha Seaside Park is located in the eastern part of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, on the coast of the South China Sea. Surrounded by mountains on three sides and facing the sea on one side, there is an 1,800 - meter - long open beach in the middle. The park presents a vibrant subtropical seaside scenery, and both local Shenzhen residents and tourists from other places like to come here to enjoy the seaside leisure time.
The center of the park consists of the Sun Square and the Moon Square, which are connected by a "Sunshine Corridor". There are polished stone benches in the corridor for visitors to rest. There are always many couples taking walks and having dates here.
Dameisha Seaside Park is divided into several areas, including a swimming area, a sports area, a leisure area, an entertainment area and a barbecue area. There are amusement projects such as motorboats, beach buggies and bungee jumping for visitors to choose from. It is very interesting to meet with family and friends here, watch the sea, swim in the sea or play water sports. If you want to swim in the sea, the park provides hot and cold water showers and baggage storage services. It should be noted that when swimming, please do not go beyond the shark - proof net and pay attention to safety. The park offers 24 - hour free life - saving services within the shark - proof net.
Accommodation and dining around the park are also quite convenient. You can find everything from high - end restaurants to roadside shops, and from ordinary hotels to five - star hotels. The special local dishes are seafood and pigeon meat. In addition, Dameisha is often overcrowded. If you don't like crowded places, you can choose to walk on the plank road along the beach. It's relatively quiet here, and it's quite pleasant to listen to the sea and feel the breeze.
Walking about two kilometers east along the coastline, you'll reach Xiaomeisha. Xiaomeisha charges an entrance fee, but there are fewer tourists and the environment is better. Next to Xiaomeisha is the Xiaomeisha Ocean World. If you're interested, you can visit it as well.
