Pearl River Night Cruise
The Pearl River includes tributaries such as the Dongjiang River, Xijiang River, and Beijiang River, which converge at the Guangzhou section. At night, the clear water sparkles and the colorful lights are dazzling, presenting a very charming scenery. Taking a night cruise on the Pearl River, you can enjoy the beautiful views of Yangcheng, such as the Pearl River's Loyalty, Canton Tower, and the Pearl River in Autumn Moon. There are also many cultural and historical attractions, including the Southern Building, Aiqun Building, Guangzhou Hotel, Huaxia Hotel, Jiangwan Hotel, Ersha Haizhu Square Garden, and Western-style buildings in Shamian. The local customs and practices of Guangzhou are all in sight. At present, the boarding piers include Dashatou Pier, Tianzi Pier, Canton Tower Pier, Fangcun Pier, Provincial Federation Pier, Zhongda Pier, etc. No matter which pier you board from, the routes are basically the same. It mainly depends on convenience (that is, you choose the pier according to its distance from your accommodation). Most of the cruises are on the eastern line, which is the section where you can see Canton Tower and Ersha Island. The scenery along this section is relatively beautiful. If you want to take the western-line cruise, currently there are only two time slots available at Tianzi Pier. You can ask at the ticket office for details. And there are relatively fewer passengers on the western-line cruise. Among the above piers, Dashatou Pier is the most popular among tourists. Notes: 1. The Pearl River's Loyalty refers to Haizhu Square and the Monument to the Liberation of Guangzhou, which is one of the new eight scenic spots in Yangcheng; 2. The Pearl River in Autumn Moon refers to the scenery of the Pearl River along the stretch from Yong'an Hall to Aiqun Building on Yanjiang West Road.
